FAQ
I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
If you are in the local area, there will be no travel expenses applied to your package. Any location a few hours from where I live in Minnesota, within the US, or abroad is discussed and confirmed individually.
II. We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?
More than okay, it’s an absolute must! Including your furry family members makes for such beautiful and fun memories. We can try to include your dog into any session that you choose.
III. Can you hold my date?
I am sorry, but I do not hold dates. I operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The only way to secure a date is by paying the deposit.
IV. Do you provide raw images?
Unfortunately, I do not provide the raw images from your session as this is not accurate representation of my work. Editing is 90% of the art that transforms your session into something truly spectacular.
V. How do we pick a location?
This is the easy part! Just tell me what your love/interests are. If you have a specific place in mind, let me know, and we can make it happen. But if you don't, I will find one perfect for you! Creating a Pinterest board and sharing ideas with me can also help find your dream location.
VI. What should we wear to our session?
When it comes to what to wear, I always recommend what you are most comfortable with and....neutrals! Stick to neutrals and earthy tones. Please, avoid neons, bright pinks, bright oranges, bright reds, stripes, or tiny patterns. These just do NOT edit well with my style and can alter the quality of your images. I also provide a What to Wear Guide when you book me!
VII. How long does it take to recieve the photos after the session is completed?
Most often, I will edit at least a few photos within 48 hours to give you a sneak peek. You can expect the rest within two-three weeks! I use an online gallery tool, so you will get a link in your email.
VIII. Can I share my photos to social media?
Absolutely!! I LOVE LOVE seeing posts of your favorite images from your sessions. I just ask that you tag me for photography credit in any post that you make. Whether that be my website, instagram, or facebook page.
IX. Can you photoshop this/that out?
When I am capturing you, I am capturing you in your most current and authentic appearance. I will edit out small blemishes and straying hairs but I will not distort your body shape or skin tone. I will also not remove jewelry from the photo. I want to document you in your most authentic self.
