I’ll guide you through the entire process
My name is Katerina, I live in Minnesota, with my partner and our furry children. I'm an editor by day, a couple's & elopement photographer by night. When I am not photographing adorable couples or mother-to-be's - you'll find me hiking, reading, mountain biking, and just living my best life possible.
I’m quite outdoorsy and charmingly sarcastic. I can promise you you’ll laugh as much as we’ll create beautiful memories.
01. SAY HELLO!
This is the easy part! Tell me a little about yourself, your partner, and what you envision for your dream session. I will get intouch via video or we can meet up for coffee where we can chat further and discuss potential package options.
02. BOOKING
In order to confirm your booking and lock in your date, I require a non-refundable retainer and a signed contract. The remaining amount is due before you session. After this is completed you will receive a Get to Know You Questionnaire and a What to Wear guide.
03. PRE-SESSION
Throughout this adventure together, we will work together to plan out your dream session from outfit ideas to locations and the memories you would love captured!
Before your session you will receive an email/message reminder from me. This is when we will solidify a meeting location and set the starting time.
04. THE BIG DAY
Yay! We made it your big day whether its a couple's session in a meadow or an elopement in Iceland, I am excited to be celebrating you. I will connect with you two, to finalize every little tiny detail. I promise I will make sure that we are set up to have a stress-free day. The day of is all about capturing your memories and creating an adventure of a lifetime.
FAQ
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
If you are in the local area, there will be no travel expenses applied to your package. Any location a few hours from where I live in Minnesota, within the US, or abroad is discussed and confirmed individually.
Can you hold our date?
I am sorry, but I do not hold dates. I operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The only way to secure a date is by paying the deposit.
We want to include our dog in the session, is that okay?
More than okay, it’s an absolute must! Including your furry family members makes for such beautiful and fun memories. We can try to include your pet into any session that you choose.
How long does it take to recieve the photos after the session and how will those be delivered?
Most often, I will edit at least a few photos within 48 hours to give you a sneak peek. You can expect the rest within two-three weeks! This also depends on the session type. I use an online gallery tool, so you will get a link in your email to your personal gallery.
What should we wear to our session?
When it comes to what to wear, I always recommend what you are most comfortable with and....neutrals! Stick to neutrals and earthy tones. Please, avoid neons, bright pinks, bright oranges, and bright reds, as they can really affect skin tones in photos. I also provide a What to Wear Guide when you book me!
I don't see starting prices for what I am looking for?
I only list my STARTING rates for the most common types of photoshoots that I do. For any other type of work submit a form and I will send you a quote based off of what you're looking for!
Other types of sessions I have done but not limited to are: Mommy & Me, Self-Love, Senior, and Adventure Sessions.
